Purpose

The Brain Disease Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to promoting research on brain diseases.

The Foundation fulfils this purpose primarily by:

addressing the entire spectrum of neurological and neurosurgical diseases, with a special focus on strokes, brain haemorrhages and brain tumours.
committing to the well-being of patients by collaborating with practices and clinics and promotes research in the field of neurological diseases.
to support surgical education

The Foundation promotes all fields of university neuroscientific research.

The Foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial or profit-oriented purpose.

Scientific advisory board

Our Scientific Advisory Board consists of nationally and internationally recognized experts.

It advises the Board of Trustees on scientific matters and plays a central role in the selection and monitoring of funded projects.
